Job summary

TBC Corporation is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join the cloud security operations engineering team. The role focuses on securing cloud environments, implementing secure configurations, and reducing risk across cloud and on‑prem platforms.

The candidate will serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert, applying cloud security standards to improve the security posture of enterprise operations and supporting DevSecOps across delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in security engineering, cloud security, cloud operations, infrastructure security, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of cloud security foundations, risk-based control design, and defense‑in‑depth concepts.
• Experience meeting with IT, cloud operations, application, DevOps, and management teams to discuss security concerns.
• Professional cloud security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cloud security standards, guardrails, and secure configuration practices.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate cloud risks including misconfigurations and exposed services.
• Design and review cloud identity and access controls (least privilege, MFA, access reviews).
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud security platforms (CSPM, CNAPP, SIEM, workload protection).
• Support threat detection and response by analyzing logs and events and recommending improvements.
