Job summary

European Dynamics is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our team, offering services remotely and collaborating with a major client on-site as needed.

The role focuses on building and maintaining cybersecurity solutions, governing SSDLC, and advising stakeholders across IT, security, and operations. You will design secure architectures, integrate controls, and drive continuous improvement in security posture.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of working experience in software systems security, cyber security and information security practices.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end authentication, authorization and data protection solutions for enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with enterprise security technologies and protocols (SSL/TLS, X.509, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, AWS KMS, KMIP, PKCS#11).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, test, and continuously improve cybersecurity solutions, products and services.
• Integrate cybersecurity technologies into the organization’s infrastructure with secure configuration and resilience.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain security controls, patches, and system hardening to address vulnerabilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on security posture and performance; recommend improvements.
• Provide cybersecurity support and technical guidance to users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams to implement secure processes.
• Develop scripts, automation, and software components to support cybersecurity operations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve security-related issues; ensure timely remediation.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate security updates to stakeholders.
• Work with team and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
