Job summary

Dscout is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Cybersecurity team, reporting to the VP of Compliance and Information. You will help reduce risk in the SaaS environment and IT systems by implementing security controls throughout the software development lifecycle and collaborating with Engineering on AWS resources.

You will monitor security posture, provide threat intelligence, and respond to cyber incidents while contributing to security policy development and third‑party risk reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CISSP, CCSP, GIAC certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of security experience.
• Experience with OWASP Top 10 (web and AI).
• Experience securing AWS cloud environments and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Lead security integration into the SaaS environment across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement cybersecurity controls for the SaaS platform and AWS resources.
• Enhance security monitoring with SIEM and improve logging/auditability.
• Assess threats and provide weekly threat intelligence reports.
• Respond to cyber attacks, contain incidents, and drive remediation.
• Support third-party risk reviews and security policy development.
