Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Engineer, Cloud Security to lead cloud security initiatives, design and deploy security controls, and oversee the management of group-wide security solutions. You will work with technology partners to guide tool selection, implement security programs, and reduce cyber risk across the organization.

The role requires extensive experience in SaaS security, cloud architectures, and DevSec practices, with a focus on maintaining a strong security posture in AWS

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in CS, business, healthcare or related tech/security.
• 7–10 years information security experience in designing, deploying and managing security in a SaaS environment.
• Experience in incident response, cloud architectures, tuning, etc.
• Strong understanding of application architectures and security.
• Knowledge of securing code and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages.
• Provide security training and awareness to developers.
• Document security policies and procedures.
• Certifications in information security preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AZ-900).
• HIPAA knowledge and data privacy practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cloud security solutions across AWS/Azure.
• Automate security controls and DevSec practices in SDLC.
• Assess cloud applications and APIs for risk.
• Guide selection and integration of security tools (WAF, CDK, etc.).
• Maintain security posture with monitoring, alerting, and governance.
• Create documentation for processes and deployments.
• Lead security programs and projects with enterprise impact.
• Conduct vulnerability patching and policy improvements.
• Collaborate with technology partners to ensure secure delivery.
• Support compliance objectives and risk management.
