Job summary

Ladders seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a leader in Technical Services. This remote US-based role will support cybersecurity planning and execution for a high-visibility healthcare technology program, protecting critical systems and strengthening risk management.

You will work with senior government stakeholders and cross-functional partners to align security controls, artifacts, and reporting with program needs.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
• Experience with cyber risk management tools such as eMASS.
• DoD contract experience leading cyber activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of networks and cyber defense processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the cybersecurity team in planning for the EHR system.
• Assist in developing project management plans and risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct ACAS scans to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts for vulnerability scanning.
• Support communication plans for project updates.
• Present operational status updates to senior government personnel.
• Maintain Risk Management Framework controls and security artifacts.
