HackerOne is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to lead our blog, annual research, and editorial standards. You’ll turn complex cybersecurity topics into clear, engaging stories for security leaders, working with experts across HackerOne to uncover insights.

You’ll manage the content program, optimize for search, apply the Style Guide, and repurpose stories for campaigns and social channels. Strong editorial judgment and data-driven instincts are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in content marketing, editorial, journalism, or related role.
• Strong storyteller with ability to craft engaging narratives.
• Excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
• Experience developing research-driven content and thought leadership.
• Experience managing a content program or editorial calendar.
• Experience with SEO and/or AEO, including keyword research and optimization.
• Experience using AI tools to support content workflows.
• Strong collaboration and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HackerOne blog, editorial calendar, publishing, optimization, and performance tracking.
• Lead the development of HackerOne’s annual research and flagship reports, turning insights into compelling narratives.
• Interview subject matter experts to uncover perspectives and strengthen thought leadership.
• Translate complex cybersecurity topics into clear content for security leaders.
• Help execute AEO and SEO strategy using search data and audience insights.
• Maintain HackerOne’s Style Guide for clear, consistent content.
• Oversee content intake, prioritization, and publication.
