Job summary

New Charter seeks a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote US‑based role. You will lead multi‑framework compliance programs, risk management, and strategic security advisory services for clients, partnering with executives and security teams.

You will guide AI governance, risk reporting, and program maturity, while coaching Security & Compliance Analysts as the team grows. A CISSP and deep framework knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity governance, risk management or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audit support.
• Experience with third‑party risk, cyber insurance questionnaires, and evidence management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Oversee risk assessments, policy development, audit prep, and evidence collection.
• Manage client risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and third‑party risk.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including security roadmaps and reporting to executives.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks for clients.
• Coordinate security services delivery and remediation tracking with various teams.
• Respond to client inquiries, support pre‑sales engagements, and drive program growth.
• Lead senior client strategy meetings and provide escalation management.
