Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC, a New Charter company, seeks a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a US-based remote role to lead cybersecurity compliance programs and risk management for clients. You will drive adherence to NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001, and provide vCISO advisory, executive reporting, and coaching of security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT/cybersecurity, governance, risk, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audits and evidence management.
• Experience with risk assessments, third-party/vendor risk, and compliance assessments.
• Able to advise executives and map security controls across Windows, macOS, cloud, networking, and identity environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks, including risk assessments, policy development, and evidence collection.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes across programs and clients.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including strategy, roadmaps, and board-level reporting.
• Coordinate with security operations for incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation activities.
• Guide teams on AI governance, data protection, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
