Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role to lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk management initiatives, and vCISO advisory services for clients.

You will guide multi-framework compliance (NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001) and work with executive leadership, security operations, and analysts to strengthen security programs and meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity, governance, risk, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001.
• Experience supporting audits, evidence management, and compliance assessments.
• Ability to advise executives and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Conduct gap assessments, crosswalks, and remediation tracking.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes.
• Manage third-party risk, cyber insurance questionnaires, and vendor due diligence.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance and risk considerations with clients.
