Job summary

GuidePoint Security in Reston, VA seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to lead the architecture and design of innovative security solutions for federal networks, aligning with strategy and market trends. The role requires coordinating with senior leaders to deliver secure, scalable capabilities.

You will work onsite 100% in Reston or DC, bring 8+ years of cybersecurity and 5+ years in network design, and pursue DoD CSSP-IS/CISSP-like certifications.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph.
• 8+ years in cyber security with leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations.
• 5+ years in network architecture and design.
• Experience with Zero Trust architectures and DoD standards (NIST 800-207).
• Experience leading product selection initiatives for security solutions.
• Ability to interact with senior leaders including CISO, CIO, CTO.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of innovative cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Develop security solutions aligned with strategy and market trends.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to translate IT needs into secure plans.
• Lead network and systems design balancing security with mission needs.
• Advance cybersecurity technologies including IoT, Cloud security, A&O, IAM, and ML.
