The Specialist Director in Federal Advisory leads the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity solutions, focusing on Zero Trust architectures, secure cloud migrations, and integrated security controls within enterprise environments.
Collaborate with senior architects to develop security frameworks aligned with federal standards, perform vulnerability assessments, support secure cloud transitions (AWS, Azure, GCP), and manage identity and access solutions (ICAM, MFA). Develop SIEM use cases, automate incident response, and monitor for security threats. Ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST, RMF, and FedRAMP, providing expert guidance on security architecture and incident management.
Minimum of eight years’ cybersecurity engineering or solutions architecture experience, preferably within federal or regulated environments. Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or Azure Security Engineer preferred. Strong knowledge of federal security standards, cloud security controls, SIEM/SOAR platforms (Splunk, Cortex XSOAR), and IAM systems (Okta, CyberArk). U.S. Government Secret clearance is mandatory.
Adaptability, collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to travel as needed. A strong understanding of compliance frameworks and experience in secure cloud migrations are essential for success in this role.
