Banner Health seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to serve as the senior contributor for enterprise security architecture, defining strategy, roadmap, and standards across major technology platforms. You will partner with infrastructure, cloud, data, AI, and application teams to embed security in designs and operations.

The role involves leading security reviews, mitigating risks, and guiding architecture decisions while balancing business needs and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to information security or computer science.
• Extensive experience in healthcare cybersecurity architecture and enterprise-scale programs.
• Ability to assess risk, communicate clearly, and influence across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes the business and IT environment to detect cybersecurity deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Develops and maintains cybersecurity capability documentation and targets architecture in support of strategic initiatives.
• Advises executives on technology investments based on cybersecurity risk and strategic value.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and threats.
• Develops relationships with business stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Advises on architectural decisions across applications, databases, technologies, and services.
• Ensures documentation standards and compliant implementation across the enterprise.
