Job summary

BRG is seeking a Consultant in Cybersecurity with strong experience in advisory engagements and AI risk, supporting multidisciplinary teams and leading client workstreams.

You will translate technical risk findings into business insights, mentor junior staff, and help shape BRG’s cybersecurity and AI risk capabilities for financial services, technology, healthcare, and critical infrastructure clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or technology risk consulting.
• Experience leading consulting engagements or complex cybersecurity/risk programs.
• Experience understanding AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, CRI FS AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001 preferred).
• Experience managing client relationships and communicating with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and AI risk programs, managing scope, schedule, resources, and client satisfaction.
• Translate complex technical findings into executive-level insights and board-ready recommendations.
• Build and deepen client relationships through technical credibility and strategic thinking.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to coaching and team development.
• Develop methodologies, intellectual property, and market-facing propositions.
