Job summary

OCH Technologies LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to proactively identify threats undetected in the network. You will analyze logs, work with incident response teams, and translate threat intel into actionable insights while applying MITRE ATT&CK to hunting operations.

Role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong data analysis skills, and experience across diverse OS environments; remote work option with a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university.
• 5+ years in Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Reverse Engineering, or Digital Forensics.
• 3+ years analyzing TTPs across the attack lifecycle.
• Experience with multiple operating systems and large data sets.
• Proficiency with Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.
• Able to translate threat intel into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and its application to threat detection.
• Ability to present data-driven narratives supporting hunting operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunts for threats undetected in the network and initiates investigations.
• Analyses raw log and network data with Threat Detection and Incident Response teams.
• Correlates enterprise trends with external threat intelligence.
• Identifies mitigations and leads analysis when APT or compromise is found.
• Develops threat hunting strategies to enhance detection capabilities.
• Builds hunting tools and automation; performs incident response for critical incidents.
