Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will proactively hunt threats across enterprise environments, analyze logs, and translate findings into actionable intel for security teams.

You will collaborate with threat detection and incident response, build hunting tools, and contribute to incident response efforts during critical events. The position requires DoD Top Secret clearance eligibility and 5+ years in related

Qualifications

• DoD Top Secret clearance and IT-I or Tier 5 eligibility at proposal time.
• Minimum 5 years in Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Pentesting, Reverse Engineering, Digital Forensics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years analyzing attacker techniques across the attack lifecycle.
• Experience with multiple OS security challenges and threats.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for cyber threats and malicious activity operating undetected within networks and enterprise environments.
• Investigate unusual behavior and suspicious activity, assuming threat actors may already have access.
• Analyze raw log, network, and security data to identify indicators of compromise and attacker behavior.
• Collaborate with threat detection and incident response teams to investigate findings and develop actionable intelligence.
• Correlate activity with current threat intelligence and external developments.
• Identify mitigations for vulnerabilities and security weaknesses found during hunting.
• Lead technical analysis when an Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) or significant compromise is identified.
• Develop and refine hunting strategies to detect new adversaries.
• Build hunting tools, scripts, and automation to improve threat detection.
• Perform incident response activities for critical security incidents and support containment analyses.
• Translate threat intelligence into actionable security information for stakeholders.
