Job summary

Ledgebrook Insurance, LLC is expanding its Cyber, Technology and Miscellaneous Professional Liability underwriting team with a fully remote, U.S.-based role. You will underwrite, build broker partnerships, and influence underwriting strategy in a fast-moving, data-driven MGA environment.

We’re seeking candidates with 2+ years of Cyber/Tech/MPL underwriting, E&S experience, strong broker relationships, and the initiative to work independently within a high-performing remote team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years underwriting Cyber, Tech and/or MPL risks.
• E&S underwriting experience.
• Strong wholesale broker relationships and ability to generate new business.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence discussing appetite, coverage and pricing.
• Strong technical underwriting and risk selection capabilities.
• Experience using data and analytics to manage portfolios.
• Customer-first mindset with a bias for action.
• Intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work independently on a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a profitable Cyber, Tech & MPL book of business within the E&S market.
• Develop deep partnerships with wholesale brokers and become their go-to underwriting expert.
• Evaluate complex Cyber and Professional Liability risks across a broad range of industries.
• Drive disciplined underwriting decisions that balance growth with long-term profitability.
• Work directly with leadership to help shape underwriting strategy, product development and portfolio management.
• Travel periodically to broker meetings, industry events and team gatherings.
