Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager of Cyber Incident Response to lead the Incident Response team and guide the Event Analyst function across a 24x7, global environment. You will oversee containment, remediation, and coordination with stakeholders to drive risk reduction and business impact.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with security and technology teams, and the ability to communicate complex incidents to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity, including 4+ years in Incident Response or SOC.
• Experience leading incident response operations and coordinating across teams.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, frameworks, and response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage Incident Response operations, including prioritization and escalation.
• Oversee the Incident Response Plan and procedures across the NBCUniversal enterprise.
• Coordinate with businesses, owners, and partner teams during incidents.
• Act as Incident Handler or Commander for significant incidents.
• Lead the manager-on-call rotation for 24x7 support.
• Develop and deliver monthly metrics and executive reporting.
