Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager of Cyber Incident Response to lead the 24x7 Incident Response team across NBCUniversal’s enterprise. You will guide escalation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis while coordinating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, process maturity, and development of incident response personnel in a fully remote capacity within the NBCUniversal security program. Salary range exists with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology or related field is required.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity or investigations with 4+ years in Incident Response or SOC.
• Experience leading incident response operations and coordinating across teams.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threats, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST IR guidance, and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage Incident Response operations including prioritization, resource allocation, and escalation processes.
• Oversee the NBCUniversal Incident Response Plan and procedures in day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate incident response activities across businesses, owners, and partner teams.
• Lead incident handling, containment, remediation, and closure for significant events.
• Develop and deliver monthly metrics and executive reporting on performance and risk.
