Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products.
• Experience with Azure networking and security services.
• Ability to explain technical risk to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain network security solutions across Azure and Palo Alto environments.
• Build automation — scripts, IaC, and SOAR playbooks to reduce manual work.
• Monitor firewall and network telemetry and tune policies.
• Manage Azure network security controls and related services.
• Configure and maintain GlobalProtect and Prisma Access in cloud/remote environments.
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense Operations to investigate incidents.
• Write and maintain runbooks and SOPs for network defense.
• Support control testing and evidence requests for HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.
• Identify opportunities to apply automation and AI to close gaps and scale defense.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
