Job summary

iFIT is seeking a detail‑oriented Customs Import Manager to own and manage import compliance operations globally, with primary focus on U.S. customs clearance.

This remote role in the United States requires coordinating with customs authorities, brokers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, full compliance. You will lead post‑entry audits, SCOs, and updates to compliance policies while expanding coverage to Europe, UK, Mexico, Canada, and Australia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in import, customs compliance, or trade management.
• Experience with ACE Portal, trade compliance systems, and SA (unclear abbreviation)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and design processes to ensure trade compliance with U.S. and international laws.
• Supervise and coordinate trade compliance and brokerage team activities for accurate handling.
• Serve as the primary contact for customs authorities and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with customs officials, shippers, and stakeholders to expedite trade compliance.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and improve processes accordingly.
• Manage global import/export activities including USA and other regions.
• Oversee preparation, review, and submission of trade documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to import/export activities.
• Develop and maintain compliance manuals, SOPs, and lead committees.
