Job summary

Cyient is seeking a detail-oriented Global Trade & Customs Compliance Specialist to support day-to-day U.S. customs and import compliance activities. The role focuses on reviewing transactions, analyzing data, and identifying compliance issues while supporting ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel and data analysis skills and practical knowledge of U.S. customs, import compliance, customs brokerage, or global trade operations.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets.
• Analytical mindset with skill in identifying discrepancies and issues in data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in compliance tasks.
• Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and document findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication; can escalate when needed.
• Experience in U.S. Customs, import compliance or related global trade operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily triage and review of customs and import-related transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze and manipulate large datasets in Excel to support trade activities.
• Identify discrepancies, exceptions, trends, or risks in transactional data.
• Escalate issues requiring further review by Global Trade or Compliance leadership.
• Support day-to-day U.S. customs and import compliance operations.
• Track, organize, and maintain customs-related documentation and data.
• Assist with research and resolution of transaction discrepancies and operational issues.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve questions.
• Maintain accurate records and support reporting for global trade activities.
• Assist with additional trade compliance projects and data reviews as assigned.
