Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking Customer Service Experts for remote phone support on behalf of customers. You will represent clients during live calls to complete reservations, scheduling, and vendor confirmations, with an emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

This independent contractor engagement offers scheduled shifts and at least 20 hours per week, with four five-hour shifts weekly and occasional weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the United States
• Native or bilingual English proficiency
• Fluent, neutral, and clear spoken English for US-based interactions
• Customer service and appointment scheduling subject matter expertise
• Strong live conversation, improvisational, and communication skills
• Confidence with outbound calls and automated phone systems
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Quiet work environment and quality wired or USB headset
• Ability to work autonomously and manage consecutive tasks
• Experience in executive assistance, virtual assistance, concierge services, or phone-based customer support is preferred
• Hospitality, restaurant, or travel experience is preferred
• Negotiation or escalation experience is a plus
• Accurate documentation and careful handling of confidential information

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of short, consecutive calls across a variety of customer needs
• Document call outcomes and important details accurately and confidentially
• Place and receive calls to complete reservations, appointment scheduling, and vendor confirmations
• Communicate clearly with businesses and service providers to gather information and fulfill requests
• Navigate phone menus, hold queues, and call centers to reach the right contact
• Handle outbound calls, including cold calls, when needed
• Collaborate with other remote professionals to provide consistent, high-quality service
• Remain fully active and responsive during every scheduled shift
