Job summary

CIEE is seeking a Custom Programs Manager, High School Study Abroad, to design and deliver customized study abroad experiences for US high schools. You will coordinate with the sales team, global staff, and schools to turn ideas into written plans, close contracts, and ensure a smooth pre-departure process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of teaching, project/account management, sales, or other relevant experience.
• Experience in international education or K-12 industries preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support programs.

Responsibilities

• Territory development: grow Custom business across assigned US regions with revenue goals.
• Relationship management: engage school leadership, teachers, counselors, and nonprofits.
• Global education thought partnership: help schools articulate global education roles in curricula.
• Program development: design proposals, finalize itineraries and outcomes with school requests.
• Operational oversight: assist invoicing, payments, pre-departure paperwork, and approvals.
• Continuous improvement: debrief programs and implement actionable items.
• Strategic initiatives: support marketing, training, and cross-functional projects.
• Reporting excellence: maintain CRM records and program statuses in systems.
