Kelmar Associates is seeking a Custody Operations Associate to join its Security Operations team. This entry-level remote position offers training and an opportunity to build a career in financial operations and custody services.

The successful candidate will reconcile client accounts, execute instructions, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with clients and sub-custodians in a remote environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged; training provided.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Knowledge: Account reconciliation and financial record management; client communication and problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily reconciliation of client accounts with the sub-custodian.
• Review and transfer accounts to state custodial accounts.
• Execute share sale and transfer transactions per client instructions.
• Update client databases with transfers, corporate actions, dividends, and gains.
• Identify discrepancies and report to the Custody Operations Manager.
• Ensure security classifications are accurately maintained.
• Research corporate actions and CUSIP histories; assist entitlement calculations.
• Assist with workflow testing and batch process improvements.
• Perform quarterly reconciliations to identify worthless securities.
• Communicate with clients regarding activity and status.
• Support onboarding activities and special projects for new clients.
