Job summary

OpenSciEd is seeking a Curriculum Derivative Product Manager to lead the quality, lifecycle, and ecosystem of curriculum derivatives and companion products. This remote, full-time role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure derivatives align with instructional vision, equity commitments, and OpenSciEd standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in K-12 curriculum development or education leadership is essential.
• Strong knowledge of NGSS and 3D science concepts.
• Ability to review educational products against quality criteria and give actionable feedback.
• Ability to decipher market data to inform product development and strategy.
• Experience with AI concepts and tools is beneficial but coding is not required.
• Proven track record of managing multi‑partner initiatives from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own derivative quality criteria and companion product processes to safeguard the OpenSciEd brand.
• Coordinate quality reviews and provide analysis for partners to meet criteria.
• Collaborate with technology partners to ingest, distribute, and maintain derivatives for classrooms.
• Apply AI to derivative review, intake, and maintenance to boost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for curriculum derivatives and partnerships.
• Represent OpenSciEd in national/state partnerships to promote adoption and impact.
