Job summary

OpenSciEd is seeking a Derivative Product Manager to own the quality, lifecycle, and supporting systems of curriculum derivatives and companion products. You will coordinate across internal teams and partners to ensure derivatives meet OpenSciEd’s standards and equity commitments while aligning with instructional vision.

You’ll lead AI-enabled workflows, knowledge-graph efforts with Learning Commons, and partner collaborations to expand derivative adoption, with a focus on ROI and scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years in K-12 education in curriculum/product roles.
• Strong NGSS knowledge and three-dimensional learning.
• Ability to analyze market data for product direction.
• Experience coordinating multi-partner initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Commitment to educational equity and inclusive design.

Responsibilities

• Lead derivative and companion product quality and lifecycle.
• Define criteria, coordinate reviews, determine support levels.
• Build processes to ingest, distribute, and maintain derivatives.
• Own ROI strategy for derivative investments.
• Lead AI and knowledge-graph initiatives with partners.
• Collaborate with Learning Commons on knowledge graph.
• Manage build partners through development.
• Represent OpenSciEd in national/state partnerships.
