Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative Online Curriculum Developer to design and build engaging online courses for digital learning platforms. This fully remote role allows you to conceptualize, write, and structure comprehensive courses that align with educational standards and effective pedagogy.

You will work independently to produce high-quality instructional materials and collaborate with subject matter experts, contributing to scalable learning experiences for learners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and developing online courses and e-learning content.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and online pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging online courses with clear learning objectives, content, activities, and assessments.
• Create instructional materials such as video scripts, modules, reading materials, and quizzes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and pedagogy.
• Incorporate best practices in instructional design to boost learner engagement and retention.
• Review and revise curriculum to keep it current and effective.
• Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple curriculum projects.
