Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Virtual CTE Technology Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction five or more hours daily, connecting with students in real time. You will personalize learning using performance data and maintain strong, proactive communication with families and schools.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education and state licensure in TX or PA for CTE-Technology grades 6-12. Remote-first, flexible learning tools, and collaboration with Edmentum teams are core to this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Active state teaching license in Texas and/or Pennsylvania in CTE-Technology grades 6-12.
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
• Comfortable with live online classroom and on-camera instruction.
• Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and standard productivity software.
• Data-informed: able to read student performance data and adjust live instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on every instructional day.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction and identify learning gaps.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families through professional communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure high-quality support across learning experiences.
