The mission of the Virtual CTE Engineering & Technology/Technology Education Teacher is to provide an outstanding, personalized, and effective learning experience for students by incorporating rigorous curriculum with a data‑driven and student‑centered instructional model.
An Edmentum Virtual Teacher is a highly qualified, state‑certified educator primarily responsible for delivering specific course content in an online, virtual environment. Teachers provide both live and asynchronous instruction.
Virtual Teachers work closely with students, parents, and learning coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals. They facilitate student engagement and encourage discussion and clarity around the subject matter.
This full‑time, remote position has flexible scheduling options, working 10 months that follow the academic school year. The role requires independent work, typically 40+ hours per week, with a professional home office setup. On‑camera presentation is required. Equipment is provided.
Pay range: $45,000—$50,000 USD. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching; and a flexible Time Away Program. 10 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 wellness day, and a winter office closure.
