Job summary

Stride, Inc. through its Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) seeks a Business & Technology Teacher for grades 9-12 to deliver curriculum in an online environment. You will monitor student progress via the Stride K12 LMS and work with families to plan post-secondary success.

The role requires a state teaching certification with CTE validation or an active CTE credential and Ohio residency. Expect ~40+ hours weekly with a professional home office setup and remote work some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active CTE state teaching certification OR active high school state teaching certification with CTE Validation.
• Ability to clear required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Differentiates instruction based on student level of mastery.
• Maintains grade book and communicates with families regularly on student progress.
• Prepares students for high stakes standardized tests.
• Travels for professional development and required activities up to 25% of the time.
