Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (CT Modality) to provide remote and field-based technical service in the Pacific Northwest.

The role requires regular travel and CT modality expertise to diagnose and resolve complex customer issues, reducing downtime and dispatch needs. Responsibilities include on-site and remote support, escalation to NTS, and collaboration with CMSU Solutions Center to analyze problems and implement solutions across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or BSEE; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 5–7+ years servicing CT/MR/Ultrasound/Nuclear/X-ray modalities.
• Active driver's license from residence state.
• Remote, field-based role with travel in the Pacific Northwest.
• Prior field Technical Support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and phone support to FSE and TSS for installation, application and technical issues.
• Provide second-level support and escalate to National Technical Support per protocol.
• Review Field Service Memos and SIS content to keep region FSEs informed.
• Install new products within the region and assist with Beta testing of Field Maintenance Instructions.
• Work with NTS to prepare VA sites for inspections and support on-site inspections.
