Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. seeks a Technical Support Engineer (CT Modality) to provide remote and on-site technical service within a defined region. You will diagnose, resolve, and escalate complex issues, mentor region FSEs, and participate in product installations and Beta testing.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Bachelor's Degree or BSEE or equivalent.
• 5 years servicing Ultrasound, CT, MR, Nuclear, and/or X-Ray/Vascular.
• 7 years servicing Ultrasound, CT, MR, Nuclear, and/or X-Ray/Vascular.
• Remote field-based role; regular travel within the assigned territory; reside in Pacific Northwest (WA/OR/ Northern CA). USA candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and phone support to FSE and TSS to address installation, application and technical issues.
• Provide second-level support in escalated issues and escalate to National Technical Support (NTS) per protocol.
• Participate in modality conference calls and keep region FSEs informed of latest information and developments.
• Review Field Service Memos and SIS docs to ensure region FSEs understand content.
• Assist in installation of new products within the region.
• Support Beta testing of Field Maintenance Instructions and monitor status to completion.
• Work with NTS to ensure Veterans Administration sites are inspection-ready and support inspections on-site.
• Mentor FSEs and provide on-the-job training; define training needs and deliver supplemental technical training.
