Job summary

Epic Health Partners is seeking Certified Substance Abuse Counselors to join as virtual group facilitators in our Intensive Outpatient Program. This fully remote role delivers structured psychoeducational group sessions, relapse-prevention support, and person-centered interventions to individuals in treatment.

You will facilitate sessions via telehealth, document notes, coordinate with supervisors and care team, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CSAC registration or current CSAC status in supervision.
• At least 1 year of substance use/mental health services experience.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and relapse-prevention approaches.
• Ability to facilitate virtual groups and maintain boundaries.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Private, confidential workspace and reliable telehealth access.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual psychoeducational, skills-building, and therapeutic group sessions.
• Support individuals in identifying treatment goals and recovery skills.
• Maintain group structure, safety, engagement, and boundaries in a virtual setting.
• Monitor participation and report concerns requiring supervision.
• Collaborate with supervisors, case managers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate documentation including group notes and attendance.
• Provide crisis support and service coordination within role scope.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development.
