Job summary

Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. is seeking a Crystal Reports Consultant for a remote contract role to support a large-scale reporting remediation during a system migration.

You will optimize reports, validate data, and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting. The ideal candidate has hands-on Crystal Reports experience, strong SQL knowledge, and prior migration or modernization exposure, with healthcare reporting experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing, modifying, and supporting Crystal Reports.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working directly with databases and report data sources.
• Experience supporting report migrations, system upgrades, or application modernization initiatives.
• Healthcare, EMR, or clinical reporting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update, modify, and remediate existing Crystal Reports as part of a large-scale migration effort.
• Analyze and update report data sources, data mappings, and database connections.
• Validate report functionality, accuracy, and performance after migration activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve report issues from application, database, or infrastructure changes.
• Develop new Crystal Reports to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify reporting requirements and ensure delivery.
• Perform impact analysis related to database and system changes affecting reports.
• Support testing, QA, and user validation during migration.
• Document report modifications, troubleshooting activities, and technical solutions.
• Identify reporting improvements and optimization opportunities.
