Job summary

CarePoint Response, Inc. is seeking an experienced 988 Text & Chat Supervisor to lead counselors delivering crisis intervention through the 988 Lifeline.

This frontline leadership role supervises Text and Chat teams during shifts, guiding responses to high-risk situations and ensuring confidential, trauma-informed support. Remote position requiring reliable internet and private workspace; evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent crisis experience.
• 2+ years in crisis intervention or mental health services.
• 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time supervision and guidance to Text and Chat counselors.
• Lead team development, onboarding, and performance feedback.
• Monitor quality, documentation, and adherence to 988 standards.
• Maintain staffing coverage and manage shift scheduling.
