Job summary

La Frontera Center Inc. is seeking a Remote Chat & Text Therapist for EMPACT. The role is full-time and remote, requiring strong clinical judgment, crisis management, and thorough documentation.

You will provide safe interventions, assess callers, and coordinate referrals while working with internal and external teams. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Counseling or Social Work, with at least 3 years in behavioral health and preference for crisis or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in the behavioral health field.
• Crisis experience preferred; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all phone lines professionally to meet agency goals.
• Assess clinical situations and provide interventions.
• Document clinically and report data to funders.
• Coordinate referrals and work with internal/external clients.
• Train staff and participate in required meetings and trainings.
