Job summary

EMPACT-SPC, part of La Frontera Arizona, is seeking a Remote Chat & Text Specialist to deliver counseling, education, and crisis support from home. The role includes direct service, supervising remote clinical staff, and coordinating program operations to ensure timely, quality service.

You will assess clinical needs, document thoroughly, and collaborate across departments while meeting agency goals. Evening/night hours and Arizona residency are required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
• Crisis experience preferred; Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all chats & texts in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency goals.
• Effectively assess clinical situations and needs of all chatters.
• Provide quality assurance of the program's service delivery.
• Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately, including referrals with required information.
• Monitor call-in times for clients on 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up; may work beyond shift if needed.
• Attend required meetings and training; evenings/night hours may be required.
• Maintain client records per agency policies; ensure continuity of care.
