Job summary

EMPACT- Suicide Prevention Center, part of La Frontera Arizona, is seeking a Hotline Therapist to support crisis callers via the suicide hotline. The role involves remote work from an Arizona residence and delivering emergency interventions for veterans, service members, and their families.

You will refer clients to appropriate services and collaborate with multiple programs within the agency. The position requires a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required for Therapist roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
• Crisis experience preferred.
• Experience working with Veterans and Veteran family members preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all phone lines in a timely and professional manner.
• Assess clinical situations and needs of callers.
• Provide safe and effective clinical interventions to all callers.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately, including data for funders.
• Forward internal referrals with all required information promptly.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients and maintain a positive attitude.
