Job summary

Atlassian in the United States seeks a Credit and Collections Manager to lead the AMER region’s collections function and drive operational excellence. This hands-on people leader will partner with Accounting, Revenue, Sales, Customer Support, and IT to reduce risk and strengthen credit controls while supporting Atlassian’s quote-to-cash priorities.

You’ll guide a team, set priorities, and use data-driven insights to optimize AR processes, improve cash flow, and maintain a strong customer

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in AR, Credit, Collections, Order to Cash, or related finance ops.
• 3+ years people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of credit management and related controls.
• Experience in multinational, shared services, SaaS, tech environments.
• Data-driven with root-cause analysis to improve ops.
• Strong stakeholder management with cross-functional partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting audit requirements.
• Attention to detail and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day credit and collections operations through a team.
• Coach and develop team members with regular feedback.
• Oversee credit assessment, limit management, monitoring, collections.
• Review complex credit check requests per policies.
• Use credit risk analysis to identify risks and mitigation.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue, IT, Accounting, and others.
• Design and execute collections strategies to improve recovery.
• Set team targets and monitor key metrics like DSO.
• Coordinate audits and remediation of findings.
