Qualifications

• The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Dental field experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state/federal insurance regs, ERISA, and ASO agreements.
• Understanding of dental insurance products and trends.
• Proven customer service and relationship building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in process and project management.
• Ability to coach and support a cohesive team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations for the credentialing team.
• Ensure NCQA and Delta Dental Plans Association standards are met.
• Monitor KPIs and provider enrollment/credentialing effectiveness.
• Develop and deploy credentialing tools, training, and plans.
• Maintain provider credentialing data for networks including Medicare/Medicaid.
• Generate and review regular reports on applications and expirations.
• Collaborate with HR on hiring and onboarding of new associates.
• Provide cross-department support for PR and claims related activities.
• Lead continuous process improvements across credentialing workflows.
• Act as backup for other credentialing team members.
