Job summary

Delta Dental of Arizona is seeking a Credentialing Associate to support dentist credentialing, recredentialing, and contracting while ensuring compliance with state and Delta Dental standards. You will manage provider records, review documents, monitor licensure, and respond to inquiries from dental offices and providers.

The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and customer service, with responsibilities across credentialing processes and provider communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years related experience (clinical dental office, dental insurance/claims, and customer service)
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF/Adobe
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain provider file databases with documentation submitted.
• Prepare change request documents for credentialing and contract processes.
• Answer and assist with incoming calls and voice messages.
• Provide customer service to internal and external callers.
• Monitor inboxes and distribute documents accordingly.
• Assist Provider Relations on projects or related functions.
• Intake and review W9 and 1099 forms and verify provider information.
• Maintain records of all provider information including credentials, licenses, expirations, and contracts.
