Central Florida Inpatient Medicine seeks a Facility Credentialing Specialist to coordinate credentialing and privileging for healthcare providers across post-acute facilities. This fully remote role requires you to manage a portfolio of 100–120 active applications, proactively follow up, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year in healthcare administration, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to learn new credentialing software quickly.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare administrative experience required.
• Credentialing, medical staff services, provider enrollment, or healthcare operations experience preferred.
• Extreme tech proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

Mansioni

• Prepare, complete, and submit facility credentialing and privileging applications for physicians, APPs, psychologists, therapists, and other licensed professionals.
• Manage up to 120 active facility applications and reappointments simultaneously.
• Monitor application status and follow up with facility medical staff offices to expedite processing.
• Coordinate with providers to obtain required documentation and licensure updates in partnership with HR.
• Maintain accurate files and electronic records within credentialing software.
• Track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, and malpractice insurance.
• Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted per facility requirements.
• Communicate status and outstanding items to providers and leadership weekly.
• Respond promptly to requests for additional documentation or clarification.
• Maintain confidentiality of provider information per HIPAA and policies.
• Assist with process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
• Support special credentialing projects and other duties as assigned.
