Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support provider credentialing, licensing, and onboarding across payer enrollment. This remote role collaborates with Recruitment, Clinical leadership, and RCM to ensure timely start dates and uninterrupted patient care.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of credentialing experience, hands-on licensing knowledge, and strong data accuracy. You will work with CAQH, Availity, and payer portals to maintain records and support Medicare/Medicaid

Qualifications

• 2+ years of provider credentialing experience.
• Hands-on provider licensing experience, including initial applications, renewals, and verification.
• Working knowledge of CAQH attestations and credentialing systems.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer enrollment processes.
• Strong data accuracy and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Manage credentialing and recredentialing activities, tracking progress.
• Process initial provider license applications and renewals.
• Maintain CAQH attestations and payer data across portals and systems.
• Monitor expirables, revalidations, and deadlines to prevent delays.
• Assist onboarding of new providers: documents, NPI/taxonomy/locations setup.
• Coordinate with licensing boards to obtain documentation and resolve requirements.
• Support Medicare/Medicaid enrollment submissions and follow-ups.
• Respond to credentialing and licensing requests; resolve issues promptly.
• Escalate complex cases to Supervisor of Credentialing.
