Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a full-time remote Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to support Utah-based billing processes. The coder will evaluate and resolve coding edits, assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classifications, and ensure compliance with billing guidelines.

In this role, you will work in Epic, communicate with providers on coding inquiries, and help maintain productivity standards while ensuring accurate revenue cycle management.

Qualifications

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist - Physician) certification is required.
• Experience coding professional fees, including Evaluation & Management (E/M) services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of physician billing and the healthcare revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and resolves coding edits in Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up work queues in Epic
• Assigns appropriate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding classifications based on clinical documentation and physician orders
• Communicates with providers regarding coding inquiries and maintains productivity standards
