Qualifications

• Five years of professional fee coding experience.
• CPC certification.
• AAPC specialty certification related to the assigned specialty.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Abstracts and codes CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for assigned providers, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.
• Communicates billing-related issues and participates in meetings to enhance billing processes.
• Mentors and assists in training other coders and new team members while identifying areas for additional training.
