Job summary

CS&L CPAs seeks an experienced CPA Audit Senior to deliver exceptional client service to governmental and nonprofit clients. You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and address complex accounting issues while building trusted relationships.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, applying GAAP/GAAS, and contributing to the growth of the audit practice. Remote work is supported from Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license (or progress toward licensure) required.
• 5–8+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Experience with GASB standards for governmental statements.
• Experience with nonprofit and/or governmental audits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online research tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day audit engagements as in-charge auditor.
• Design and perform audit procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and audit documentation.
• Apply CS&L's audit methodology across engagements.
• Identify and communicate accounting matters to Managers/Principals.
• Collaborate directly with clients for efficient information flow.
• Research new auditing standards and share knowledge with the team.
• Mentor, coach, and support audit staff.
• Apply GAAP/GAAS across engagements.
• Participate in scheduling, training, and administrative tasks.
