Cayuse Language Connect, LLC is seeking an experienced West African Dialects Interpreters to support court-related interpretations. This remote, part-time hourly role requires real-time consecutive or simultaneous interpretation in diverse settings such as hearings, pretrials, and immigration matters, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years of court interpretation, immigration, trafficking hearings.
• Native or near-native fluency in English and one West African dialect.
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken communication in real time during court-related proceedings.
• Clarify non-verbal cues and culture-specific concepts to support understanding.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.
• Complete required logs and reports per protocols.
• Comply with applicable laws and government policies.
