Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of court interpretation, immigration, trafficking hearings.
• Native or near-native fluency in English and Indigenous Mexican Languages listed.
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken communication in real time, preserving meaning, intent, and tone.
• Facilitate cross-cultural understanding by clarifying non-verbal cues and concepts.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and reports.
• Comply with laws and government policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
