Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Controls Manager to oversee cost controls across tenant fit-outs, retrofits, technology modernization and ground-up data center construction. This primarily remote role requires delivering accurate financial insight, risk identification and timely reporting for fast-paced programs.

You will partner with construction, project controls, finance, procurement and estimating teams to resolve cost issues, drive accruals, and ensure audit readiness

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction cost controls or project controls.
• Experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities preferred.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, systems and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, commitments, actual costs, forecasts, cash flow, accruals and reporting.
• Review contractor invoices, payment applications, change orders, labor rates, markups and supporting docs.
• Maintain cost risk registers, monitor mitigation actions and elevate budget concerns.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, variance explanations and ad hoc analyses.
• Ensure data accuracy across project controls, finance, procurement and reporting systems.
• Support purchase orders, contract administration, compliance docs, audit readiness and closeout.
• Partner with delivery teams to resolve cost issues.
