Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Controls Manager to support data center and mission critical programs. This largely remote role will manage cost controls across tenant fit-outs, retrofits, technology modernization, connectivity projects, and ground-up construction.

The ideal candidate delivers accurate financial insight, identifies risks early, and supports informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction cost controls, project controls, cost management, or capital project delivery.
• Experience with complex programs, preferably data centers or mission critical facilities.
• Strong forecasting, cash flow, change management, invoice review, accruals, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, commitments, actual costs, forecasts, cash flow, accruals, work-in-place, and EAC reporting.
• Review invoices, payment apps, change orders, labor rates, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain cost risk registers and monitor mitigation actions.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, variance explanations, and ad hoc analyses.
• Ensure data accuracy across project controls, finance, procurement, and reporting systems.
• Support purchase orders, contract administration, compliance, audit readiness, and closeout.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve cost issues.
